What you'll do

A tour for all ages just outside of Boulder (accessible by Taxi, Lyft & Uber). Tours start at sunset and last for 2 hours. The show will explore the night sky with several large telescopes and a laser pointer. We will see and learn about planets, constellations, navigation, satellites, nebula, clusters, galaxies, maybe some shooting stars, and our universe. Through telescopes we will get up close looks at these objects and take in their beauty with our own eyes. The tour takes place at a easy to find trailhead (no hiking required) where phenomenal sunsets and wildlife are often seen. Guests are provided with a red flashlight, comfy camp seating, bug spray, and bottled water(upon request). Guests are encouraged to bring questions, wonderment, and warm clothing (it can get cool after sunset)

I can add availability on most days by request to accommodate your travel plans (the sooner the request the better, I would like to know more than 1 week in advance)
Other things to note
Please be aware of weather, tour is subject to cancellation if it is too cloudy to see any stars

It was an amazing experience. I would do it again if I’m ever back in Colorado. Dress warm though it gets very cold at night.

The astronomy tour was fantastic, and that is saying something as we are from Georgia and came on one of the coldest nights. They held my interest through the shivering and teeth clattering. I highly recommend this tour to anyone with even a passing interest in astronomy.

We had a great experience looking at the night sky in Boulder. It was freezing cold with it being the dead of winter, but it was enjoyable seeing so many stars in the sky at once.

Such an incredible chance to see and learn more about the stars and the world. Really a wonderful experience. When they say to dress warmly though, listen... it gets cold out there!

Went on a cloudy night which was a bummer, but still learned a lot and enjoyed my experience! The guide was extremely passionate, funny, and everyone in the group asked plenty of great questions! We got to see Venus and Jupiter which was cool. Really wish I could’ve seen more stars, but that obviously all just depends on the weather! Still had a great experience and would recommend!!!
