What you'll do

Activity begins with your San Juan hotel or meeting location pick up.

Once we arrive to the skirts of El Yunque Rainforest we will start with a 25-30 minute journey on a river wading and rock scaling path to the river. Here you will see bamboo trees, rain-forest flowers, and many other beautiful plants and experience various rivers, waterfalls and walk through natural trails. We will make a stop to visit a collecting pool that forms at the base of a small waterfall. This portion of the adventure finishes in a pool area, its best kept secret. After a few minutes of hiking, arrive at a natural river where you can swim, swing from a rope to the river, and enjoy the natural water slides.

After the hike, we will stop for lunch at a local restaurant (lunch cost not included) before heading back to San Juan.
Other things to note
-Must be in condition to walk prolongued times thru uneven surfaces.
-Not suitable for persons with certain conditions, please read Requirements or contact us for additional information.

Frankie and Elias were great— this tour was a great experience! You hike a bit (not too steep or strenuous, but quite muddy) and then swim including going down natural water slides. It’s a great value for the price especially since it includes transportation to and from wherever you’re staying in the San Juan area. Really awesome to get to see and learn about El Yunque. Would highly recommend.

This was so fun! Our guides were very engaging and welcoming, this wasn't an experience we could get on our own- we needed the tour to find and navigate such a special place! 10 out of 10!

Was a fun experience with water slides, cliff jumping but the tour is along a private path in el yunque rain forest and we didn’t get to hike/walk through the most popular spots in rainforest.

A great hike of El Yunque. Our tour guide Francesca was so nice and upbeat. The hike is not too difficult but definitely has some parts that require careful stepping, climbing etc. There are various slides and cliff jumps to choose from tailored to your activity level. Bring a pair of shoes that you’re willing to throw out, you will literally be knew deep in the water and mud. A must do while in Puerto Rico. The lunch on the way back is delicious but it took forever.

This was a great experience! Francesca, Bula, and Mitchell were great hosts, and made sure the entire process was safe and enjoyable. The rainforest is beautiful and the slides, rope swings, and cliff jumps into the water are a lot of fun. There were a few slightly difficult parts, but the tour guides were there to assist if needed. We took an alternate path back and it was very muddy. Plan to leave all of your belongings on the bus - our tour guides took photos and created a shared album for our group afterwards. The lunch process took a while but was delicious. Would definitely recommend as a way to see this part of PR!

It was an amazing experience. Francesca started with very clear instructions in the beginning and later made sure we have a blast safely while in astonishing rainforest. She also gave quick facts about the coffee, plants&trees without overdoing it. Food truck stop on our way back was a plus. Trail is moderate but not super hard. Go for it if you are looking for muddy but super fun day tour with rope swing, cliff jumps and water slide. Thank you Francesca!
