I graduated in Recreational Sustainable Tourism Management from San Diego State University and was fortunate to quickly earn a captain’s license while working for a tour company in the San Diego harbor. I decided to venture to the Virgin Islands with the hope of starting my own business. I worked for a tour company in St. Thomas for a short while and at the early age of 25, I was able to start my first business, a kayak rental business. Well, the rental gig was okay but I figured there had to be a way to generate more revenue, so I started LED lighted Night Kayak tours. I’m proud to say that I was first in the world to add lights to clear bottom kayaks, a simple idea that has really taken off!
The second idea was to expand Night Kayak operations to Puerto Rico and that has worked out great!

Emie and Luis were great guides. We saw lots of starfish and fish but the manatees were not feeling very social when we went so we didn’t get to see any. If your looking for a nice easy breezy quick kayak this is for you.

I would really recommend the 6:30am reservation . We got to see the sun come out and saw some star fish on our ride . Staff is great and makes the experience a lot of fun

It was pretty cool. Just as I expected it was something to get off our checklist. The people were nice and awesome. We got lucky and saw a manatee for a brief moment which we will never forget

This was a really fun experience! Me and my wife were hesitant since we’re both pretty inexperienced kayakers but we really enjoyed ourselves and got to see some wildlife, so glad we did it!

Tour was nice. Mark was extremely nice, knowledgeable and informative. Life vests needs to be cleaned between uses, they smelled of sweat. Water seemed more clean and blue in pictures, however in person it was murky and not as beautiful (could not see anything under kayak) as images suggest. Still a fun experience and worth a try.
