Excellent day out visiting the stunning ruins at Monte Alban, as well as a couple of the Oaxacan valley villages known for their handicrafts. Alejandra was a great guide and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

The tour was packed with information and Alex was a great guide with a wealth of knowledge of the history of Monte Alban. The drive was longer than we expected, but comfortable and the driver was able to maneuver through some tough traffic regardless. We would definitely do another tour experience with Alex!

We were highly impressed with Alejandra's breadth and depth of knowledge in each of the highly valuable tours that form part of this mega-tour. We were part of a mixed bilingual Span/Eng group and were just completely blown away at Alejandra's ability and energy to completely and fully engage with guests and provide comprehensive understanding of Monte Alban and the master artisans we witnessed at work. Truly, this experience will give you a much deeper understanding of Mexican and indigenous cultures in Oaxaca and the artisanry that is still being passed on to this day. If you come to Oaxaca, please take the time to take this tour!

Really great tour of Monte Alban. Alejandra knows an incredible amount about the history of the ruins and local culture, it was quite impressive! Be prepared for a long wait at Monte Alban (which is no fault of the tour guides--just the way it is visiting a major archaeological site). My boyfriend and I particularly loved getting to learn more about the local craftsmen; their work is incredible and you will be amazed by the skill that goes into the alebrijes. Definitely recommend!
