What you'll do

The perfect experience for everyone! Great for families, friends and ideal for company off-sites/team building. This breathtaking 2 mile walking tour of San Francisco's hidden stairways is the #1 rated Airbnb Experience in the Bay Area, loved by both locals and tourists alike.

See gorgeous mosaic tiled steps and hear the stories behind them, then take in stunning 360° views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Golden Gate Park and downtown San Francisco. You'll also discover beautiful neighborhoods and gardens that many locals are not aware of and that tourists rarely see.
Oh, and you might even go home with a succulent!
I'll provide commentary, context and some history along the way.

Generally SF is dry May-October. There can be fog in the summertime, mostly in the morning. Temps rarely above 70F (21C) or below 50F (10C). Rain may cancel.

Guests should be reasonably fit. Though we don't cover many miles, some of the terrain is steep. It will be necessary to carry small children as strollers are not suitable. If you bring a guest that’s under 18, it’s your responsibility to make sure the activities they participate in are age-appropriate.

I'm a native Irishman but a 20 year resident of San Francisco who adores my adopted city and loves showing it off to locals and tourists alike.

A former marathon runner, I know the city's best views but now prefer a more moderate hike on gorgeous stairs! This walk is done at a leisurely pace & suitable for most people.

Greg does an amazing job weaving in the history of SF's origins into the sights. The walk itself is very casual and you won't break a sweat (except possibly when climbing up to see a 360° view of the area, but it's so worth it!). I would definitely recommend this experience whether you're solo, with a work team, or traveling with friends and family. There's something for everyone! It's a very thoughtful, positive experience.

I had one of the most experiences today !! Greg was able to afford me a VIP experience. He was knowledgeable and enthusiastic to share the history of SF as we leisurely stroll through the neighborhoods to witness the hidden stairs . The scenes were breath taking is honestly an understatement. The splendor and majestic views from the elevation we traveled exceeded my expectations! My family is coming in March , so it will be the top on the bucket list as a must do experience. Thank you Greg for an unforgettable day!!

Really fun tour + great intro to SF. Greg was super friendly and I was lucky enough to have him on a solo tour (he takes great pics too!) INCREDIBLE views when the sun is out - look at the forecasts if you can!

Greg was awesome! Super nice and was very knowledgeable about everything, including the stairs, plants, and SF as a whole. He went at a great pace and wasn't too fast, so I surprisingly didn't get tired. Overall a great experience :)
