What you'll do

I'll guide you through the streets of Shoreditch this historical part of London's street art scene, you'll see murals, art-filled alleys, graffiti / street art from worldwide street artists. I curate the walls, so you will be in good hands.
Learning about the processes and stories behind each piece, I have an insider view and knowledge as opposed to other Street art tours. I come from this culture and work directly with graffiti and street artists from all over the world. Who knows, you might get lucky and see my friends painting ... check the weather forecast and dress comfortably.
Other things to note
Dress comfortably / appropriate for London's weather, umbrella, walking shoes.
All my experiences are LGBTQ friendly.

Growing up in London, I was drawn to this scene from an early age, I document and work directly with artists, for the past 30 years have forged life-long relationships with both local and international street artists. Supporting public art from organising surfaces, assisting with projects and help create the public art on our streets. I am lucky to be able to present their work and tell their stories.

Dean was welcoming and so knowledgeable about the art and the artists. The tour was a good length and covered all Ford of street art. The tour was a gift for my son who had just started living in the area, but I also found it really interesting.

What a fun, interesting tour and a great introduction to East London! Dean was passionate and knowledgeable of the graffiti art scene. I really enjoyed the examples he showed of the area artwork. (as the work is constantly changing!) Would highly recommend the tour to anyone interested in urban art and/or the local art scene from an insider’s perspective!

I booked Dean's experience for my husband's birthday and we had a fabulous time. We both live in London but having the experience to hear from Dean, an insider of the street art community who collaborates with an international community is a privilege. He knows every street art walk around the area and all the artists and stories behind them. It is not only a visual fest to see the beautiful works by these artists but also a great opportunity to get an insider view of how things work, the rules or no rules, the stories of artists evolution and personal brands. If you want to get a street art tour, contact Dean!

Exceptionally interesting street art tour. Dean has a lot of information and knowledge on the street art of this area and elsewhere. He pointed out so many pieces we would have missed had we just walked around on our own.

Dean is a great host and it’s amazing that he’s actually been one of the originals of the street art scene in London. Loved all the art and wouldn’t have found it without him.
