Myself and Luca have over 20 years guiding experience between us and in 2016 Luca founded Little Fish Tours here in Edinburgh.

This is not our first "Experience" on AirBnB, we already run popular Whisky Tours, Castle Tours and a tour of the National Museum of Scotland. Building on their success we are proud to launch our new Old Town Tour.

Scotland has a deep and rich story telling culture and by combining our shared passion for story telling and by drawing on many years of guiding experience I believe we can help bring over three thousand years worth of history to life for you and help enrich your time spent in Edinburgh.

As the only person who had booked this tour on a Wednesday morning…it could have been a pretty awkward experience - but Greg, my guide, could not have been more welcoming and instantly put me at ease! Incredible level of knowledge about the city and we had a really enjoyable wander seeing the sites! Super interesting stories, peppered with personal anecdotes made for a great tour guide! I would highly recommend this to all coming into Edinburgh! I loved it so much - I ended up joining the Edinburgh Castle tour later that day! Excellent all round!

Overall needs some improvement as a city tour as the amount of sights visited were too few so for a cold day there's not much movement. Very well detailed information from our guide, very intelligent & overall very satisfied with the tour information. The final section felt more like a sales pitch rather than a history tour, didn't feel like there was more to add except to sell more tours.

It was our first time visiting Edinburgh and we are SO glad we booked this tour. John, our tour guide, was phenomenal. He was so knowledgeable and personable and really made the tour very smooth and knew exactly how to manage the transitions well from stop to stop. He clearly knows his stuff and adds a lot of humor and wit to his tour which makes it even better! We did the two hour walking tour and we loved it so much we booked another tour with him for the Edinburgh Castle! Could not recommend him and this tour any higher. A simply must do if you want to make the most out of your trip to Edinburgh!

We did the walking tour with Alistair and promptly came back for his whisky tour later the same day. Even in the cold, the walking tour was very fun and interesting and Alistair had a great knowledge of so many areas of history -- but also makes the stories funny and brings the characters to life. Definitely ask about the "Human Lasagna." The whiskey tasting was in a gorgeous room above the Waverly bar and I got a good grasp of Scottish geography through the flavors and stories of whiskey distilleries. Alistair also gave us a great dinner recommendation at the Outsider and we had a nice dinner to soak up the scotch.
