Cheerful cottage, 2 bedrooms, Yungaburra

A short drive to the lakes; a short walk to the local supermarket, the pub and the cafes and restaurants of Yungaburra. Wonderful for bird-watching and possibly spotting tree kangaroos or platypus on the Peterson Creek track nearby. The house is much the same as when it was built in the 1950's with only one bathroom and limited disability access due to steps. You will share the garden with three backyard chooks (chickens). Help yourself to any eggs, limes and passionfruit (in season)

We call our lovely cottage "Kisler Cottage". It is located on the edge of Malanda which has all amenities, shops, period hotel, RSL , cafes and restaurants. Malanda is a great base to explore the Atherton Tablelands. Kisler Cottage is fully self contained, well appointed with quality furniture, some made by master- craftsman Victor Kisler, hence the name. The views from the cottage front deck are spectacular. So are the sunsets.
