You will begin with slow yoga poses that warm up and stretch the body. We build the class into a dynamic flow infused with mindfulness, breathwork, and optional advanced postures. The class always ends with a soothing savasana and a grounding meditation. You will meet Virginia (or Emily) on the beach in front of El Be! Club. El Be is closed on the street side in the mornings, please walk to an Alameda #7 sign to guide you past a restaurant called Waffle Monkey, and you'll see the class setting up in between Portofino & The Ocean restaurants. We practice yoga on a flat, shaded space on the beach. We always have enough yoga mats (and some extras) and individual brooms for you during class. Produciendo Café en el Bosque Nuboso de Monteverde
When our visitors arrive at the Sanctuary, the first thing we will do is make a small introduction about our family project, we are guardians of 48 hectares of forest since 1999. During the walk to the plantation, we will talk about the history of coffee in the world and Costa Rica, and then explain on the plantation what permaculture consists of and sustainable farming versus monocultures. Also, learning about specialty coffee and the different ways of processing and finish with a visit to the drying area. On the way back you will have a coffee tasting in three different roasts and methods and each participant will learn how to prepare their own coffee in the proper way. In the end you will learn: how to be a more informed and smart buyer, make the most of the product and value the work behind each cup of coffee. Other things to note We are the only specialty organic coffee plantation in Monteverde. During the year coffee goes through different stages, therefore, depending on the season you will see different processes.

Cooking with a Costa Rican Family
After booking our experiences, you will arrive at our kitchen where you will be very welcome and where you will share a good time with an authentic Costa Rican family. After introducing ourselves and getting to know each other over a refreshing drink, we will take you on a tour of our organic garden, where you will learn about the different crops and aromatic plants, followed by picking some of the ingredients that we will use for the preparation of our dish. When we return to the kitchen we will prepare a refreshing mojito to proceed to prepare a typical dish with fresh ingredients, produced by us and our neighbors. At the end of the preparation of the dish, we will consume everything prepared in a family atmosphere. If you come with more time than agreed there is a good chance to observe some animals such as frogs, birds and sloth that live in our garden.
Go birdwatching with a licensed guide
We'll start birdwatching at 6:00 AM, where we'll see about 30 different species of birds at an elevation of about 4,500 feet above sea level. Then we'll stop at a cafeteria, where we will have a chance to check some bird feeders as we enjoy a great cup of Costa Rican coffee. After that, we'll move up to Curicancha Reserve where we'll walk through two different life zones including different types of forests (secondary, transitional and primary) plus open areas where we'll be able to see much more variety of birds or Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve to be at a different elevation—about 5,000 feet above sea level—where we'll see much more interesting birds, including the resplendent quetzal, guans, barbets, three-wattled bellbirds, tinamous, and so many others. Finca El Paraiso Farm & Cheese Tour
This is a third generation, small scale, sustainable farm. The animals are pasture-fed and roam freely throughout the day. It is our vision to continue to operate this farm without the use of pesticides or chemical based fertilizers and to maintain a balance of pasturelands and forest. We will start aboard the boat and move down or up the river depending on the tide. You will immerse yourself in the fascinating world of the mangroves—extremely adaptive trees. Along the way you will get to plant a mangrove tree and contribute to the preservation of our planet. Out on the river we will find three different species of monkeys including the white-headed capuchins, endemic squirrel monkeys, and Howler monkeys. The area is well-known worldwide as one of the most biodiverse places on the planet. We will also look for three kinds of boas, crocodiles, caimans, and other reptiles such as green iguanas, the common basilisk—known as the Jesus lizard—and turtles. Hike to Rio Fortuna Waterfall, Arenal Volcano and Hot Springs
We will meet the guide at the Sloth Watching Trail at 8:00 am, or at your hotel if it is near La Fortuna. (please indicate that you require transportation) First we go to the majestic La Fortuna Waterfall, which is 230 feet high; where if the weather allows it, we will bathe in its crystal clear waters. (if it rains a lot it won't be possible) We will be around an hour and a half in this place; then we will take the minibus to go to the next point and one of the most spectacular, the walk in the tropical forest to the base of the Arenal Volcano, where we will visit the lava flows of the years 1525, 1968 and 2010; Also while we enjoy this beautiful ecological park we will learn about the trees and animals that inhabit this place. (Approximately two hours to the base of the volcano and one hour to the green lagoon). After the descent we will enjoy a bath in the green lagoon of totally clean water and of volcanic formation. Once we have enjoyed it, we will have a traditional lunch. To finish we return to the bus to go to the natural river of hot springs (Rio Tabacón), where we will enjoy a majestic place, we will also put on a volcanic mud mask. For after a great day of adventure and experience, return to La Fortuna around 4 pm.

This guided hike begins in the mountain-top town of San Antonio, Escazú. We'll meet at "Terminal de buses El Curio" to begin the hike. Throughout the hike, we will get to see many types of butterflies, spot some interesting birds, learn a lot about Escazú's history, all while enjoying of the stunning views that this area has to offer. Part one of this hike will take us to the peak of Cerro Pico Blanco, which has a maximum elevation of 7450 ft. Here we will take some photos, and enjoy the scenery while we catch our breath before descending towards part two of the hike, Waterfall Rio Londres. Once there, you are welcome to swim, take some pictures or simply just sit back, eat a snack, and enjoy the landscape. Afterwards, we'll make our way down the mountain, stopping from time to time so that I can point out interesting things or share fun facts about the surrounding nature. Located just a short distance from the city of San José, this is one of the best ways to experience the natural surroundings of the country without having to travel too far. Pico Blanco is known for having the most beautiful views of the Central Valley, since it's the biggest mountain in the Escazú area. Night Walking Tour & Special Dinner with Cocktail Classes

Starting with the Central Market, which, is the only way to learn about the city’s food. Stroll the market with your local guide and get to know the secrets, uses of the roots, herbs, and fruit common in local cuisines, including ingredients that will play a role in your authentic Costa Rican dinner later. Jungle Hike to Giant Waterfall
Just 5 minutes from the center of town you can move from the beach to the tropical rainforest. As easy as literally crossing the Street, doing this you will enter the Kekoldi indigenous territory. You’ll have secure parking from where the hike starts. 5 minots in, you’ll begin diving into the rainforest. First crossing an old cacao farm. Then you’ll pass three humble huts of indigenous families. One hour in you'll be in the depth of the forest. Some trees with more than 200 years of safeguarding these territories. This jungle has species of plants and shrubs with healing properties. A wide variety of palms such as chonta and suita that provide materials for the construction of the traditional Bribri house. About 2 hours in you’ll be approaching our great surprise. Descend to the KEKOLDI river. Follow the river, until we encounter an imposing 45 meters high waterfall. Here enjoy swimming and appreciating the tropical jungle at this secret and remote place. After enjoying and delighting in this breathtaking place it’s time to head back to the start. We will be walking in the jungle so you might get some mud on your shoes. And if it's raining we will still get mud so don't let a rainy day stop us. Total distance is 10km. For some people the hick could be a challenge.
Eight canopy zip lines, 150 feet rappelling (optional), malekus and pools area (optional)
(THE BEST CANOPY ZIP LINE IN THE FOREST) What we will do and include is: 1- Eight cables of different distances, between 590 to 1315 feet. 2- Two short walks on trails in the forest. 3- 160 feet high rappell on a dry natural wall. (optional for the one who wants to.) It also depends on weather conditions and security. 4- Visit to see or buy souvenirs from the indigenous Malekus. 5- With the bracelet that we give you, you will have the right to enter the Montaña de Fuego Resort pools, located in front of our place. If you do the 3pm tour and want to use the pools, you need to pay for a taxi back to your hotel. Our last ride is at 5:15pm (It is optional) Other things to note: - You can bring personal camera that can be secured to the harness or helmut. - If you bring your cell phone, we recommend a special pocket to tie. (if you lose it, it's not our responsibility.) - Do not bring jewelry or items that can be dropped from the platforms. - We have parking, lockers and dressing rooms. - If you need we can provide transportation from the center of the village of La Fortuna for $5 per person, with advance notice. - We have a photographer in case you want to buy it is $10 per person.
Horseback riding near the Arenal Volcano or the Arenal River
This experience takes place within a private estate through conservation areas, surrounded by primary and secondary forest, giving visitors the opportunity to enjoy excellent panoramic views of the Arenal Volcano and the rainforest. With our healthy and well-trained horses we begin this incredible experience, from the stable for 3 hours through the trails in the rainforest enjoying beautiful views. During the tour, we will provide the tour participants with important information about the different species of animals and vegetation found along the way. Snorkel Sailing Sunset Adventure
Departing from the beach in Tamarindo at 1:30 pm you will enjoy a four and one half hour (4 1/2) hour sail along Costa Rica's spectacular coastline in one of the purpose built catamarans found within the Marlin del Rey Sailing Tours fleet - the 66 foot Marlin del Rey, the 65 foot New Marlin or the 65 foot Marlin Tres.  All are open and spacious which allows our passengers to comfortably enjoy the blue water views of the glorious Costa Rican coastline with its pristine beaches and verdant jungles from the bow trampolines, lounge on the roof deck, man the wheel with the captain or relax, one of the oversized tables found in the shaded area of the main salon and ultimately experience one of the brilliant Costa Rican sunsets. Upon departing Tamarindo we will leisurely sail along the Gold Coast will searching for and hopefully observing some of the vast, abundant and varied sea life found along our shores.  Some of the sea life we hope to encounter includes whales, dolphins, turtles, flying fish, rays and a wide variety of sea birds.  If conditions permit we will also throw a few fishing lines off the back in the hopes of hooking into one of the many game fish that ply our waters. Hike Rio Celeste Waterfall with Lunch & Swimming time
We will meet at Seven Tours next to Rainforest Cafe, La Fortuna. Then we will travel to Tenorio Volcano National Park for 1 hour and 15 minutes through beautiful areas of cultivation, livestock and forest. When we got there, we included the entrance to the Tenorio Volcano Park. There we will take a about 3 hour hike inside the park's forest to see the blue river, the waterfall, the dyeing spot and the thermal bubbles. (It is not allowed to bathe in the river) but then we will have time for that after lunch. On the way back we visit the "Tree of Peace"; a giant ceiba that is considered one of the oldest trees in the country. We then moved to a local restaurant for lunch on a delicious typical or vegetarian dish, after finishing we will tour the gardens behind it, until we reach the Rio Celeste again; here you can take a dip in the river pools. After this refreshing bathroom, we will return to La Fortuna. Other things to note: No disposable plastic bottles can be brought, so please bring your personal bottle. You should be in good physical condition for a multi-hour hike. Bring proper shoes and a bathing suit, towel, plus a backpack with extra clothes, raincoat and if you want some fruits or energy bars.
