Lovely cosy cottage for one or two set on our little French farm in the beautiful and peaceful North Dordogne countryside. The cottage is nestled in 30 acres of fields and woodland where you can watch our many animals pottering around enjoying their sunny French retirement! We are halfway between the pretty villages of Mialet and Saint-Jory-de-Chalais which are well serviced with shops, bars, restaurants and boulangeries. Both villages are less than 5 minutes by car or 30 minutes on foot.

Our beautiful cosy cabin has been recently built to enable our guests to enjoy our stunning lake and relaxing surroundings. It is totally private and the perfect place to relax. If you would like to fish, the lake is fully stocked with fantastic fish up to 35kg, fishing costs 12€ per 24hrs and equipment is available to hire for 12€ as well if required. Very well presented cozy detached gîte, with character and gorgeous views across the countryside of the Périgord National Park. A perfect retreat amongst the wildlife, ideally located midway between Limoges and Angoulême and close to the Leisure Lakes of The Charente/Haute-Vienne. Les Salles-Lavauguyon with a friendly welcoming bar ran by locals is only a few minutes walk away. The châteaux of La Rochefoucauld, Rochechouart and Montbron are just a short drive away.

Charming little cottage for 4 people, well equipped in unspoiled nature - comprising a cellar-level kitchen/dining room, living room on the ground floor with 2 sofas + screen and upstairs 2 double bedrooms and a shower room. Great place to recharge...but if you can't drop your computer, don't worry, you have access to wi-fi! Parking area in front of the cottage and a stone's throw away, use of the shared salt pool (9 m x 4 m).
