Onder de kastanjeboom staat ons romantische vrijstaande huisje in het pittoreske Schellinkhout. Volledig uitgerust met keuken, badkamer, TV en 2 pers. bed met heerlijk matras. In 10 stappen sta je op het zandstrandje om te zwemmen, zonnen en (kite)surfen. Wandel langs het vogelbroedgebied, fiets in de omgeving, golf in Westwoud of verken VOC havenstadjes Hoorn en Enkhuizen. Bushalte en parkeren voor de deur. 30 min. van Amsterdam. Gezellig restaurant op 100m. Ontbijt regelen wij op de 1e dag!

Experience how it feels to live in a typical dutch (Holland) village! We, Peter and Lia, live here for about 25 years with our family. We are carpenters and we sell our handmade furniture in our own small shop at our property. We made our guesthouse "De Gortla". We love to travel and be in our garden (as you can see). Het is te huur als B&B maar ook als vakantiewoning voor een langere periode. The deck-house and wheelhouse in the back of a former sailing cargo-ship van 1888 is transformed into a small apartment . The rest of the boat is a shop with sailing / marine equipment and a bunker station. The entrance is due to the age of the ship a small steep stair, keep that in mind. The surrounding is a lively harbor with sail-ships and cruise-ships. There is a parking available for €5 - a night very closeby. So enjoy the sound and movements of the water!
