We welcome you to stay in our home. It is bright and spacious being recently built on my parents' farm in the heart of the Irish countryside. Guests have access a private bedroom & bathroom, and also to the kitchen/diner, living room & outside spaces. We are centrally located, 1 hour+ drive from Dublin and Waterford, central between Kilkenny, Portlaoise and Carlow. Very near Abbeyleix, Ballinakill, Castlecomer and Castle Durrow. Perfect for exploring or to stay when attending weddings locally.

This self contained 1 bedroom home has been lovingly renovated from a cattle shed into a new space, since we moved to Laois in 2021 from Dublin. Set in a tranquil country area, 10 -20 minutes from the local towns of Rathdowney, Durrow, Abbeyleix and Portlaoise. Please note the water supply in the cottage is from a 200 year old hand dug stone well & sometimes can be very strong in minerals as we are in a rural region with a lot of limestone deposits in the area
