Your questions answered
Airbnb Plus is a program for homes that meet a high bar for quality and design.
On top of requirements for the homes themselves, hosts in the Plus program are expected to maintain Superhost-level standards of hospitality:
- 4.8+ average overall rating over the past year
- 0 cancellations in the past year (unless there were extenuating circumstances)
How much you interact with your host is up to you. Superhosts can provide great conversation and local tips, but they also understand when guests want their privacy.
Booking with a Superhost also doesn’t mean you’ll necessarily be staying with them—you may have the place to yourself. Being a Superhost simply means providing outstanding hospitality.
While you’re browsing homes on Airbnb, you can narrow your search to show only homes with a Superhost. Towards the top of your screen, simply toggle the “Superhost” option under either “More filters” (on the website) or “Filters” (on the mobile app).
You can always ask a Superhost if you want local tips or have any burning questions—quick service is only a message away.
Being an Airbnb Superhost is about providing outstanding hospitality, which means being highly-rated, experienced, reliable, and responsive. And while each Superhost has their own unique style, they’ve earned their status by meeting, and often exceeding, guest expectations.
