While staying, you will feel like you are secluded amongst a forrest, yet you'll only be a 5-10 minute drive away from everything in town! The house was built in 2017 with modern finishes. Beautiful country setting located in Southern Iowa and only 5 miles from town. And minutes from Little River Lake if you enjoy fishing, boating or swimming. Hunting in Southern Iowa is a popular past time for many. We have a small cute 2 bedroom home available for you to relax and get out of the city. Leon has a grocery store, Dollar store, Caseys, and a Ice Cream Shop with sandwiches and other food available along with shopping in the back. Then right next door is another little cafe.

The lot boasts a wooded valley with many birds and squirrels to watch. The Prayer Cabin was recently remodeled with a brand new kitchen and bathroom. Our first guests asked us if Chip and Joanna were the creators of the design. 💚 Navy Blue cabinets, Tons of white shiplap and open shelving. Peaceful. A place of respite and relaxation.

Located in South Central Iowa our peaceful home is located about 10 minutes from Rathbun Lake which makes it a perfect stay in the summer months! We are within a couple miles of state hunting ground for those hunters that need a quick get away to a prime White Tail Deer and Turkey area!
