Situated on the beautiful, peaceful island of Hrísey in the middle of Eyjaförður. The house sits on the water's edge with stunning views of the fjord and mountains where you can sometimes watch the whales and dolphins. PLEASE NOTICE: The island is located in the northern part of Iceland. It is a five-hour drive from Reykjavik. And you need to take a ferry to get there. No cars, pedestrians only. The ferry departs from the fishing port of Árskógssandur every two hours and only takes 15 mins.

Family paradise in the country

A beautiful house in the countryside located just 2km outside of the small town of Ólafsfjörður. Ideal for families to relax and enjoy the nature. In the summertime there is access to a lake and a lot of beautiful walking trails and hikes in the surrounding mountains. In the wintertime this is an absolute paradise for skiing and all kinds of winter sports and activities. On the property is a small forest, a lot of birdlife and it feels like you are million miles away from the nearest town.

The cottage is well equipped, with new WIFI for guests to use, and has quality mattresses made up with comfortable linen soft towels and warm blankets. The area is extremely peaceful. Húsið er á þrem hæðum, tvö herbergi í risi, á miðhæð er stofa, eldhús og wc með sturtu, í kjallara eru tvö svefnherbergi, wc með sturtu, þvottahús og skíða/útifata geymsla. Húsið hefur viðurnefnið Skógarahúsið. Húsið hentar vel 6-8 manns ef tveir sofa saman í tvíbreiðu rúmunum

Gestahúsið okkar er lítið 15 fm hús. Húsið stendur á lóðinni rétt sunnan við húsið okkar. útsýnið yfir fjörðinn er einstakt og fjallasýnin eftir því. 4,5 km er í miðbæ Akureyrar sem hefur uppá að bjóða alla þá þjónustu sem hugsast getur. We are motorcycle friendly. Það er heit úti sturta.
